7th months has arrived :)

So Faye is 7 months old as of today :) that isn't the only thing that happened today she also got her 3rd tooth! upper front right :)...we're the luckiest parents out there to have such a great happy energetic and charismatic little girl. She has so much personality and just loves life. (smile).



This was a visit she had with Aunt Sara and Uncle Adam this past Saturday :) we're so blessed to have them in our life. 

She LOVESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS her MONSTER INC. toys loves loves loves...she'll seriously sit and play with them for as long as you let her...so wicked cute. she still loves any tag whether it is on a stuffed animal or a toy, still obsessed with Raffi. Well I don't need to go down the list she just pretty much loves the favorites that have been favorites for a long time.


Here is Faye discovering that she can use the bumbo to stand I turned my head for a moment and the next thing I know she is standing in it!

This is another one of Faye newest favorite toys...it's the small and simple things I suppose :)





She took a bath this morning from the big girl seat (present from her grandma (Kee)) however after 20 min, or so she just wanted to stand up or get out, she was stretching for me to pick her up so I ended her bath early. BUT funny thing is she knew her little blue whale tub was around the wall she was stretching around me to see it so I think she missed her old tub. I think we'll go back to using that and see if she prefers that 

One of the newer things she did recently is she crawls(ed) over to her saucer, stood up, and then walked/wobbled in step with it as it turned...so crazy how fast she is growing up...it feels like yesterday she was born. Well anywho my two loves are here with me now and will be forever and I just am so absolutely happy about that. Cheers!



this weekend

This weekend Faye discovered how to pull herself up to a standing position :) using objects around the house to pull herself up with. On our walk she managed to turn herself around and stand up in the stroller. We dropped her crib to its lowest setting Friday :( well Jordan did and we were both crazed about it because we just never thought we would have to do it so early...sad but very happy times. We feel so much joy when we see her face light up when she does new things ya know. She is seriously such a good girl she rarely rarely gets upset :) for example when her teeth came in she never fussed at all we never would have known if she hadn't provided us with gallons of drool :) and sweet potatoes are the food we are giving her this week and they are seriously her favorite (just like her mommy).

Faye is mobile

Ok so I know I told you that Faye's been crawling for some time now...but I couldn't resist uploading this recent show of intelligence, she is such a smart little cookie let me tell ya. So these pics are not the best...used my phone because I didn't have our camera on me at that moment but it's all good in the hood...

 Faye made it to Raffi so I put up a wall to block her. She sat there for about a minute or two and then she decided to go AROUND the barricade.

Faye is officially 6 months old :)

She is a little ham and we just love her :) she is 6 months old now YIPPIE! and I am shedding lots of tears because she is becoming her own little person...but for sure it's great times. so what are Faye's accomplishments :)

• well she past the 14lb mark! and weighs 14.5lbs.
• she is 26.5 inches long.
• sits up without falling over at all
• crawls
• sits up from a crawling position
• she eats two meals a day
• cereal or oatmeal
• peas (we puree right now) but that is pending change but we'll see
• has two teeth (bottom) and the top ones are well on their way!
• still loves strangers but now sometimes she doesn't want anything to do with them at all
• has sucked on her first orange when we were out at boizo (she freaked out when it was all gone and so we learned our lesson LOL no goodies at dinner until the end)
• drinks water from a water bottle but we're working on her sippy cup skilz...
• is back to sleeping from 6pm - 6 or 7am
• naps 3 times a day still
• laughs historically when you quack at her
• loves Raffi (oh my gosh insane) and the children's song book on cd
• loves the out doors
• sleeps anywhere
• favorite things still to do with her mom and dad is "im going to tickle you" and I hope that doesn't changes for a long time
• gives wet kisses ;)
• loves v-tech toys
• loves water bottles
• but her favorite thing to soothe herself is a plastic sandwich bag or chip bag

we love being parents! I feel so very blessed to have her and I am grateful for all I have been given because life could not, in anyway, be any better than it is now.
