our little ms. magic

 Were to begin...I don't want to write to much as I know my last was super long however Faye is now almost 9 weeks old and just sweet as can be. Updates since my last blog, hmmmm a few are listed below (smile)

• since she was 4 weeks she has been able to hold her head on her own...even uses the bumbo well has a few times
• since she was 4.5 weeks old she has been taking her daily naps on her belly
• she recently has rolled on her side 5 times on her own
• she talks to you when you talk to her
• she makes eye contact and loves bright colors
• her 9am nap is done or well I put her to sleep by dancing to either Frank Sinatra or Jimmy Buffett or the Beatles. if she stays down for a good nap it's 4-5 hours long. I don't have her afternoon nap down because people are usually over or we are out...so we shall see what happens there. 
• for three weeks she has been sleeping through the nights 100%...not one day has she woken up...we're on a streak! she goes down between 830 and 10pm and is up by 7-830am depending. I must say that I don't know what I'll do with our next because I really feel Faye did this all on her own. I do a few things consistently (I do not do baby wise or baby whisper...I know they work they just weren't my thing) but I really just think she did it on her own.
• The newest thing is that she can put herself to sleep when I put her down awake at night. I haven't put her down awake for her daily naps because she goes down 95% of the time on her belly however her newest thing learned is that she can wake up during a nap and put herself back to sleep (that was soooooooooooo awesome to watch)...it's been 3 days of that...way cool.
• she LOVES LOVES LOVES being outside. If she is fussy...go outside...if she is tired...go outside either way she stops fussing and falls asleep...love easy fixes
• she HATES HATES HATES going on car rides since day one and up till today. Not sure when that will end, people that I know that have had babies that hate the car seat ensure that "this shall pass" Oh I just can't wait for that day let me tell you!
• she smiles the most in the morning but I have loved watching her smile more and more as the days pass
• she can take the bottle (nice for when I need to go out and do things and wish not to bring her and more importantly Jordan gets to feed her which is to cute to watch) and also takes formula once a day
• she has had three really bad spit ups...those scare me a lot...other than that she just drools so I am glad she isn't a pukey baby. could still become one I suppose but for right now it's nice.
• she can't decide if she likes the PACI but we still try sometimes because it's really nice when she's tired and can't figure it out.
• she loves to cuddle
• she now likes bright colors and will stare at them for many many minutes
• she loves her bath but HATES the before and after time when she is naked...can't take one nice picture of her because she just crys when she is naked (well 70% of the time it's getting better)
• she poops a lot like her parents LOL
• she hates being on her belly awake, so play time is normally on her back.
• she loves the leg exercises we do...her fave is the butterfly kick and the snowboard and I think she really likes the get jiggy with it one...hmmm maybe she just likes them all and those are the ones that her mom likes to do because they are the silliest LOL
• she likes the sing and bouncy seat sometimes
• doesn't like laying on the boppy
• likes to be bounced in your arms up and down up and down...my arms sometimes feel like they will fall off but i know that is impossible so I just keep dong it LOL
• she likes it when her dad sings bob marley to her (awesome)
• is gasey but doesn't cry about it which is weird
• LOOKS LIKE HER DAD hee hee
• likes to poo our of her diapers
• doesn't fit in any size diaper right now they are either to small or to big which is probably why she poops out of them LOL
• has blonde hair sometimes and strawberry blonde the other times
• she hasn't decided if she likes walks in the stroller yet...
• likes to lie on or in her changing table...not sure why but it is what it is
• she is predictable...when she crys she is pretty much tired or hungry
• still sleeps in her bassinet
• she loves to sleep
• she stairs about our picture of Christ a lot, I like to think she remembers him.

 Above is Faye sleeping...taken tonight...after she kicked the blanket off I was to scared to move it in fear of waking her up so I just added one more to put over her...now she is cozey and sleeping in her bassinet

Like father like daughter...this was taken this past Sunday...to cute for words. She also tries to grab that thing in the back to the left of her against the couch...it has bright colors and the new things this week si that she is opening and closing her hands on command, i love her so much.

 Aunt Jess and Faye we loved having her to visit and can't wait to see her again! we do so miss her

 Faye and I at her first visit to the zoo last Wednesday I believe. She loved it and never fussed once. She even decided to be awake for part of the time which was fun.

That's all I have to say about Faye...sorry it's ended up being long...she's is pretty much my life LOL. I am currently learning about video editing and so maybe my next post I'll be able to upload some videos I have taken. NITE!
