tHiS mOmMy GiG is the most important role in life as a parent.

Faye is 10.8 lbs and 23 in. long as of today :)
I cannot wait to grow and learn with my children and as a wife. Parenting truly is such a blessing and among many things that I feel from having Faye and Jordan is that listening to them is one of the most important things in our relationships. I do not need to go on about listening to Jordan (smile) that isn't interesting right?! But listening to Faye is a new thing for me, learning her needs and wants and what she loves.
I have learned so much from watching Faye sleep, from her talking (cooing), and from the small and simple things like snuggling: what do I learn from her, well I learn when she is or may not be in pain, what makes her happy, what interests her, what does not interest her, when she is tired, and many other things. I am grateful for all I have in my life, for instincts that help me to help Faye, for the church which teaches me how to be a great mother, for my own mother who taught me the hows and whats of motherhood through watching her, for sisterhood which tought me how much someone who isn't Faye's parents can love, for the love of people who extend their hand when we are in need, and so so much more.
Jordan and I both pray often for patience and an understanding when it comes to Faye because right now that is the most important thing because Faye can't just tell us what she wants in words, she shows us. When the day comes that she can tell us and talk to us we want to be there for her and be the kind of parents that are in the links below.
Being a mom is hard work, it is not easy to give up what I want to do for Faye's sake sometimes (like running (winkwink). The challenge is worth it. The time is worth it. But I also know that it is only worth it if I do it right. If I only try to be a mom half way, it would be a waste of effort and time.
Cheers to motherhood and to you moms and dads out there that take the time to sit and hang out with your children. Precious moments.

Jordan and I just love this video:
